This december I had another blessing added to my life!

I became an aunt to beautiful adeline!

She is already 7 weeks old and gets sweeter all the time!

its been awhile...

I can't believe how long its been since I posted last.....It seems funny now that I was so concerned about sending Joshua to school. He is doing so well and having so much fun.

It's really unbelievable how much he has learned so fast, kids are amazing!

...and now we have just registered Caleb for school in the fall... thats the only thing about having kids so close together, they go of to school close together too!

Our "baby" is crawling now , he seems to so quickly be growing up, even as I type he is playing and exploring by himself:) It's one of those times in your life that is exciting and a little heartbreaking at the same time!

a sad and happy goodbye?

Less then two weeks now until i drop our first born off at school in the care of someone I don't know, with children I've never met..... Seems such a strange thing to do when you've spent the past four years not letting them out of your sight!

I'm excited, because I really think he will have fun and learn lots of new things, and I know this is a normal part of life.
Its not as if my son and I are part of a new experiment or something, this has been going on forever, and yet it feels like the most unnatural thing in the world to do! (to me anyway:))

It is a new chapter in a child's life, so I accept it with sadness that the last chapter has ended, but with excitement that a new one is beginning:) After all what fun would a story be if you stayed on the first chapter and never read on.....hmmmm... somehow though that doesn't seem to make this transition any easier...for me that is:)

Congratulations to Tim and kari Mcateer and big sisters Sarah, Alaina and Emily on the safe arrival of Aleeya Grace.

Born at 31 weeks,friday June 29, at 4:01 pm, weighing 3 lbs 11 oz.

She is making amazing progress, even the nurses can't believe the progress she is making, she was already off of oxegyn and being fed breast milk at six days old! Amazing!

We are praying that little Aleeya will be home soon!

It's amazing how a baby can change so quickly right before your eyes...to see them discover their hands and feet for the first time, and see their first smiles!

I'm really enjoying being a mommy for the third time, not that I did'nt enjoy the first and second time:) but the anxiety and uncertainty of having a new baby is'nt there because we have done this twice before, so we can just enjoy having a baby... and just watch him discover his new world and everything around him!

this is Avery at 5 weeks old
